Information on the use of cookies and tracking tools, pursuant to Article 122 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Privacy Code), Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority of 10 June 2021.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that the websites you visit send to your device, where they are stored so that they can be sent back to those same websites on your next visit. Similar tools (local storage, pixels, device identifiers) that serve the same purposes are treated as equivalent to cookies.

3. Technical cookies — no consent required

The Platform uses cookies and technical tools that are strictly necessary for the service to work. No consent is required for these tools (Article 122 of the Privacy Code); the legal basis is the performance of the contract.

4. Analytics and marketing cookies — only with prior consent

With the User's express consent given through the banner, the Platform may activate third-party statistical analysis and marketing tools. Without consent, or if consent is refused, these tools are NOT installed and no data is sent to third-party providers.

The providers listed above may transfer data to the United States; such transfers are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and, where applicable, on standard contractual clauses. Consent is also communicated to Google through Consent Mode: without consent, no identifiers are sent.

5. The banner and consent management

The first time you access the Platform, a banner is shown that allows you, with equal prominence, to accept or refuse non-technical cookies, or to make a granular choice from the preferences: consent is SEPARATE for each purpose — statistical analysis tools and marketing tools — and each may be given or refused independently of the other. Boxes are never pre-ticked. You may continue browsing without making any choice: in that case only technical cookies remain active.

• The choice you make is stored on your device and is not asked again for 6 months, unless you clear your browsing data or the list of tools changes substantially.
• Consent may be withdrawn or changed at any time from the "Cookie preferences" section, reachable from the documents page (https://homekeyitalia.it/legale).
• The date, the version of this policy and the choice made are recorded as evidence.

6. Disabling cookies through your browser

You may also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling technical cookies may impair the operation of the Platform, including access to your account area.

7. Updates

This policy may be updated, in particular when the tools in use change. The version in force is always available at https://homekeyitalia.it/legale/cookie; substantial changes are notified through the Platform.
